Just Keep Typing

The month of November has arrived in 2018, (not a typo). Today is November 4, 2019. This is National November Writing Month. You can check it out for yourself. https://www.nanowrimo.org

In November of 2018, I managed to create my account at the website provided above. A lot of time was spent reading social media. Successes were in full bloom of other writers, but myself. The motivational and inspirational stories were great, yet all I did was read them. Looking back there wasn’t a game plan. Nor was I using my tool box, resources and set goals for me to write.

Around May of 2019, a considerable amount of time was spent with me talking about writing. Lot’s of talking! My mouth was running a hundred miles an hour. Then came up the invitation I’ve been avoiding. Not that again.

This particular group has been seeking my presence for two years. The invite in June was my third one. A guest appearance happened on June 8, 2019. (Read blog titled, To Write or Pickle.) Wow! The camaraderie is great. Clearing of my mind to hear the internal writer, relief. Unknown, suppressed emotions began their exiting process.

All of the darkness has been fed light within the past six months. While sharing with a friend my priority of writing she texted me. “Just keep typing!” Said Dory. My incantation used on a regular basis.

I am a happy writer, 663 words (continue writing) written for my novel, “You are Delicious.”

Please take the time to find your natural skills. Good luck to you all. Take care.
